Edward Hadfield joins Rush on Unfinished Business, the show for veterans pursuing new missions after the uniform and for the families and communities who stand beside them. A retired Fire Chief, Ed grew up surrounded by police officers, military veterans, firefighters, and public servants, and he came to see them as centurions, the guardians who stand between ordinary people and the worst the world can produce. That belief became a thirty-nine year career in public safety.

This is a conversation about what nearly four decades of command taught him: leadership, earned trust, servant leadership, and the One Team philosophy. Ed is honest about faith, failure, and humility, and about what it costs to keep accepting responsibility when other people’s lives are on the line.
